WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT FROM POIYOMI TOON OR POIYOMI PRO?

there are multiple differences between poiyomi and blueshade and each are for their own use cases

Poiyomi requires locking due to the amount of stuff it has to do Blueshade does not require locking and still takes up less VRAM than poiyomi both locked and unlocked, but that can change due to a multitude of factors like texture size.

Poiyomi requires a bunch of textures to perform simple animations or effects, Blueshade does not require these textures and use instead math to figure out based off what you select example. Under overlay you will find animations. Here are the list of animations. This also does make blueshade slightly more intensive but not enough to cause issues.

Some of these animations also can be more diverse as poiyomi is still quite limited with only textures to define.

Blueshade and poiyomi when it comes to audiolink

Both support audiolink but blueshade automatically defines specific segments when it comes to emission i made it easier to apply audiolink without needing to mess around with so much and in the future there will be easier ways to define what audiolink does.

Poiyomi is also built for 1 platform in mind VRChat, blueshade is built for a multitude of platforms and tested to work properly from vrchat to chilloutvr its all tested properly.

Blueshade is future proofed by making use of SPI (Single Pass Instancing)

Blueshade is designed to be easier and quicker so you can finish what you want to do, Upload Avatars and worlds.

Remember both Blueshade and poiyomi both have their uses just because one seems like another doesn't mean they are the same.
