A tutorial for converting AudioLink (for example with Poiyomi shader) to the Furality Aqua shader.

AudioLink and Furality Aqua's reactive audio shader are NOT the same and are completely incompatible. You must use the Furality Aqua "Luma Glow" to see your avatar react to the audio while at Furality.

The only way to test your Furality Aqua reactive audio is by visiting the Luminescent Lodge VRChat world and using the large video player.

1. Switch to the Furality Aqua shader

Find the material with AudioLink and switch it to the Furality Aqua shader (your albedo, normal maps, etc. should convert over). Under Page select Luma Glow Settings.

2. Configure emission

Check Enable emission, set the emission albedo to your base albedo and set the color to white.

Check Mask Emission and set the mask to your AudioLink mask.

Under Emission Glow check Enable Zones and select Gradient 1. This setting means your avatar will light up with the world which looks much nicer.

3. Test

Follow the steps here to test your avatar inside Unity and in-game.

In-game: Visit the Luminescent Lodge VRChat world. Walk down to the large video player (left from spawn), paste your favourite song into the player, open the mirror and you should see yourself light up.

4. Changing to reactive audio

The other way of making your avatar glow with the music is by switching from zones to Audio Reactivity. The two systems are NOT designed to work at the same time - pick one or the other.

Uncheck Enable Zones and in the dropdown for Audio Reactivity select an option (lows means bass and highs mean treble).

Set the Tint color to whatever color you want to make your avatar glow.

For example if you pick Lows Pulse, every time the bass kicked in your avatar will pulse a colour.
