A simple tutorial for adding a "blush" to any avatar.
1. Create a plane
Create a "plane" mesh and place it under the "head" bone in the hierarchy.
2. Create a blush image
In your favourite image editor (Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.NET) create a transparent gradient and export it as a square transparent PNG. The attached image is the incorrect format (WEBP) but you can save it and convert it if you like.
3. Set the plane albedo
Inspect your plane and for the mesh renderer use the "standard" shader, set the rendering mode to "fade" and set the albedo to your gradient image.
4. Create the other cheek
Clone the object and flip for the other cheek. Done!
