


My Tannhauser Knight Armor comes with both sci-fi armor plates and a detailed bodysuit, allowing for extensive user customization. It is by far one of my most detailed armor designs, and I hope you like it!

= SETUP =
Requirements: Poiyomi (Shaders) Fury (Unity Setup, strongly recommended but not needed!), Unity 2019.4.31f1, VRC SDK3

Fury is used to quickly port the bones from the clothing to your avatar. Without it, you would need to migrate the bones manually.

Poiyomi is required for the materials to function.
Create a new file in Unity 2019.4.31F1
Import your VRC SDK, then Poiyomi, then Fury into your file.
Import both your avatar and the clothing packages into your file.
Drag clothing into armature
Add VRC Fury (Script) component to clothing
Click + in script
Select Armature Link
Open clothing, drag hips bone into Armature link Root bone
Add VRC Fury (Script) component to avatar.
Add whichever materials you wish to use to the armor/jacket/pants.
Build/Publish the avatar, this will automatically migrate the bones from the clothing to the avatar, as well as upload the avatar to VRChat!
* Note: You will require upload permissions to import the avatar.
= PERFORMANCE=
This outfit comes in two separate mesh renderers, one for the armor and one for the bodysuit, allowing you to easily choose between one or the other if desired.
Armor Plates: 25,241 Tris
Suit: 29,105 Tris
Total: 54,546 (2 materials)
For best performance, we recommend deleting sections of your mesh avatar hidden by the clothing, as this will reduce your triangle count, material number, and reduce possible clipping with the garment!
Note that body thickness/plus-size shape keys may not work for all avatars, given that the outfit was created with athletic shapes in mind.
